COMPLAIN TO ALLAAH

A precious Gem: The Complain of the Ignorant, Ibn Al-Qayyim , Al Fuwaid

(taken from the English translation of the book) p. 134

The ignorant people complain to people about Allaah, and this is the

highest degree of ignorance, for if he had known his Lord, he would not

have complained about Him, and if he had known the people he would not

have complained to them.

One of the predecessors saw a man complaining to another man about his

poverty and dire necessity. He said to him, 'O you! By Allaah, you have

done nothing but complain about He who has mercy for you, to the one who

has no mercy for you'.

The following words have been mentioned about the meaning of the

previous statement of the predecessor.

*When you complain to a son of Adam,,,,verily you complain about the

Most Merciful,,,,,, to the one who does not pity*.

On the contrary, the person who is profoundly knowledgeable about

Allaah complains to Allaah alone. And the most knowledgeable person

about Allaah is the one who complains about himself to Allaah, and never

to people. He complains about the causes that make people do wrong to

him, for he knows about the following ayah,

'And whatever of misfortune befalls you it is because of what your

hands have earned. And He pardons much' (Ash-Shura, 42: 30)

'Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allaah but whatever of evil

befalls you, is from yourself.'

(An-Nisa, 4: 79)

'(What is the matter with you?). When a single disaster smites you,

although you smote (your enemies) with one twice as great, you say:

'From where does this come to us?' Say (to them), 'It is from yourselves

(because of your evil deeds). 'And Allaah has power over all things.

(Al-Imran, 3: 165)

Therefore, there are three levels: the lowest one is to complain about

Allaah to his creatures, the highest one is to complain about yourself

to Him and the middle one is to complain about His creatures to Him.

May Allaah make us from those who complain to Him alone about

ourselves, He the Majestic and Most High, Ameen.

THUL HIJJAH

THE MONTH OF HAJJ

HAJJ is the fifth (5th) pillar of Islaam. It is a once in a lifetime obligation upon every male and female who are sane adults, who have good health and who have the financial means to do so.

ALLAAH says; "And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allaah, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance, provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves (i.e. denies Hajj), then he is a disbeliever of Allaah". (Imraan 3:97)

In carrying out this obligation Muslims fulfill Allaah's call to Ibraheem (Abraham) to sacrifice for the sake of Allaah.

ALLAAH says; "And proclaim to mankind the Hajj. They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway to perform Hajj".

That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. the reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the Name of Allaah on appointed days over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice). Then eat thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time". (Al Hajj 22:27-28)

Narrated Abu Hurairah (ra), Allaah's Messenger (sallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "Whoever performs Hajj to the House (Ka'bah) and does not approach his wife for sexual relations nor commits sins (while performing Hajj), he will come out as sinless as a newly born child (just delivered by its mother)". (Sahih Bukhari Vol3, No. 45)

THE DAY OF ARAFAT

It is the ninth (9th of Thul Hijjah) and the pilgrims are worshipping Allaah with Salaat and Dua'a and we, here at home, are worshipping Allaah with Salaat and fasting. And the people who complete their fast this day, Allaah will forgive them of their sins for the last year and the upcoming year; Maa Sha Allaah. Stay at Arafat from sunrise until sunset

There is no god but Allaah, there is no partner with Allaah, He has all the Sovereignty and He deserves all the praises. He is Almighty Allaah Who is capable of everything; AMEEN!!!

THE DAY OF EID

It is the tenth (10th of Thul Hijjah) and now comes the Eid, Eidul Adha, The Slaughter for the pilgrims and The Celebration for the Muslims at home and The Slaughter. The pilgrims will slaughter and eat and then make their farewell Tawaf and the Muslim women and children will celebrate while the men go out to slaughter at home. AL HAMDULILLAAH!!!!

ALLAAH says, "That is the command. Whoever glorifies the commands of Allaah, it surely is from the devotion of the hearts". (Al Hajj 22:32)

OUR LORD! GIVE US THE GOOD IN THIS WORLD AND THE GOOD IN THE HEREAFTER, AND SAVE US FROM THE FIRE; AMEEN!!!

THE EXPLANATION & UNDERSTANDING OF VEILING &HIJAB

The Tafsir of Surat An-Nur

Ayaat 24:31

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze, and protect their private parts and not to show off their adornment except that which is apparent, and to draw their veils all over their Juyub and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their women, or their right hand possessions, or the Tabi`in among men who do not have desire, or children who are not aware of the nakedness of women. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.)

The Rulings of Hijab

This is a command from Allah to the believing women, and jealousy on

on His part over the wives of His believing servants. It is also to

distinguish the believing women from the women of the Jahiliyyah and the deeds of the pagan women. The reason for the revelation of this Ayah was mentioned by Muqatil bin Hayyan, when he said: "We heard -- and Allah knows best -- that Jabir bin `Abdullah Al-Ansari narrated that Asma' bint Murshidah was in a house of hers in Bani Harithah, and the women started coming in to her without lower garments so that the anklets on their feet could be seen, along with their chests and forelocks. Asma' said: `How ugly this is!' Then Allah revealed:

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze...)'' And Allah says:

(And tell the believing women to lower their gaze) meaning, from that which Allah has forbidden them to look at, apart from their husbands. [Some] scholars said that it is permissible for women to look at non-Mahram men without desire, as it was recorded in the Sahih that the Messenger of Allah was watching the Ethiopians playing with spears in the Masjid on the day of `Id, and `A'ishah the Mother of the believers was watching them from behind him and he was concealing her from them, until she got bored and went away.

(and protect their private parts). Sa`id bin Jubayr said: "From immoral actions.'' Abu Al-`Aliyah said: "Every Ayah of the Qur'an in which protecting the private parts is mentioned means protecting them from Zina, except for this Ayah – (and protect their private parts), which means protecting them from being seen by anybody.''

and not to show off their adornment except that which is apparent,) means, they should not show anything of their adornment to non-Mahram men except for whatever it is impossible to hide. Ibn Mas`ud said: "Such as clothes and outer garments,'' Meaning what the Arab women used to wear of the veil which covered their clothes and whatever showed from underneath the outer garment. There is no blame on her for this, because this is something that she cannot conceal. Similar to that is what appears of her lower garment and what she cannot conceal. Al-Hasan, Ibn Sirin, Abu Al-Jawza', Ibrahim An-Nakha`i and others also had the same view as Ibn Mas`ud.

and to draw their veils all over their Juyub) means that they should wear the outer garment in such a way as to cover their chests and ribs, so that they will be different from the women of the Jahiliyyah, who did not do that but would pass in front of men with their chests completely uncovered, and with their necks, forelocks, hair and earrings uncovered. So Allah commanded the believing women to cover themselves, as He says:

(O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known, so as not to be annoyed) [33:59] And in this noble Ayah He said:

and to draw their (Khumur) veils all over their Juyub) Khumur (veils) is the plural of Khimar, which means something that covers, and is what is used to cover the head. This is what is known among the people as a veil. Sa`id bin Jubayr said:

(and to draw) means to pull it around and tie it securely.

(their veils all over their Juyub) means, over their necks and chests so that nothing can be seen of them. Al-Bukhari recorded that `A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "May Allah have mercy on the women of the early emigrants. When Allah revealed the Ayah:

(and to draw their veils all over their Juyub), they tore their aprons and Akhtamar/covered themselves with them.'' He also narrated from Safiyyah bint Shaybah that `A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, used to say: "When this Ayah:

(and to draw their veils all over their Juyub) was revealed, they took their Izars (waistsheets) and tore them at the edges, and Akhtamar/covered themselves with them.''

(and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers, or their sons, or their husband's sons, or their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons,) All of these are a woman's close relatives whom she can never marry (Mahram) and it is permissible for her to show her adornments to them, but without making a wanton display of herself. Ibn Al-Mundhir recorded that `Ikrimah commented on this Ayah,

(and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband's fathers...), "The paternal uncle and maternal uncle are not mentioned here, because they may describe a woman to their sons, so a woman should not remove her Khimar in front of her paternal or maternal uncle.''With regard to the husband, all of this is for his sake, so she should try her best when adorning herself for him, unlike the way she should appear in front of others.

(or their women,) this means that she may also wear her adornment in front of other Muslim women, but not in front of the women of Ahl Adh-Dhimmah (Jewish and Christian women and disbelievers), lest they describe her to their husbands and others like them. This is prohibited for all women, but more so in the case of the women of Ahl Adh-Dhimmah, because there is nothing to prevent them from doing that, but Muslim women know that it is unlawful and so, would be deterred from doing it. The Messenger of Allah said:

(No woman should describe another woman to her husband so that it is as if he is looking at her.) It was recorded in the Two Sahihs from Ibn Mas`ud.

(or their right hand possessions. ) Ibn Jarir said, "This means from among the women of the idolators. It is permissible for a Muslim woman to reveal her adornment before such a woman, even if she is an idolatress, because she is her slave-girl.'' This was also the view of Sa`id bin Al-Musayyib. Allah says; (Tabi`in among men who do not have desire,) such as hired servants and followers who are not at the same level as the woman and are feeble-minded and have no interest in or desire for women. Ibn `Abbas said, "This is the kind of person who has no desire.'' `Ikrimah said, "This is the hermaphrodite, who does not experience erections.'' This was also the view of others among the Salaf. It was narrated in the Sahih from `A'ishah that a hermaphrodite, used to enter upon the family of the Messenger of Allah and they used to consider him as one of those who do not have desire, but then the Messenger of Allah came in when he was describing a woman with four rolls of fat in front and eight behind. The Messenger of Allah said, (Lo! I think this person knows what is they are; he should never enter upon you.) He expelled him, and he stayed in Al-Bayda' and only came on Fridays to get food.

(or children who are not aware of the nakedness of women. ) Because they are so young they do not understand anything about women or their `Awrah or their soft speech or their enticing ways of walking and moving. If a child is small and does not understand that, there is nothing wrong with him entering upon women, but if he is an adolescent or approaching adolescence, so that he knows and understands these things, and can make a distinction between who is beautiful and who is not, then he should not enter upon women. It was recorded in the Two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah said:

(Avoid entering upon women.) It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about the male in-laws'' He said:

(The male in-law is death.)

MORE KNOWLEDGE FOR THE WOMEN

The Muslim woman is a Shepherd.

(Qur’an At Tahreem 66:6): ‘Oh ye who believe save yourselves and your families from the fire…’.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘Everyone is a shepherd and everyone of you will be questioned about his flock… and a woman is a shepherd over her husband’s house and she will be questioned about her flock’.

This shows that the Muslim woman in her own right is a leader and hence is responsible for those who are under her authority. And as a shepherd has knowledge of what is beneficial and what is harmful for his sheep, so to the Muslim woman must know what is either beneficial or harmful toward her household and this cannot be attained except through knowledge of the religion. If she doesn’t have any knowledge of Islam she would be unable to teach her children and command them toward doing what is correct and prohibit them from what is reprehensible.

The Muslim woman commands the good and forbids the evil

(Qur’an Ali Imraan 3:110): ‘You are the best of people taken out of mankind, you command the good and forbid the evil and believe in Allah’.

Narrated in Saheeh Muslim on the authority of Abi Sa’eed Al Khudri the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘Whomsoever sees an evil then let him change it with his hands, if not let him change it with his tongues, if not let him change it with his heart and this is the weakest of Eeman’.

Narrated in Saheeh Muslim on the authority of Tameem Ad Daari the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘The religion is advice (3 times)’. The Companions asked: ‘To whom O Messenger of Allah’. He said: ‘To Allah, the Messenger, the Muslim leaders and the rest of the Muslims’.

Advising, commanding the good and forbidding the evil is obligatory upon every Muslim male and female according to their capacity. Hence, she must command the good and forbid the evil with her husband, her children and fellow sisters. If she doesn’t do so she would be questioned for such on the day of reckoning.

THE MUSLIM WOMAN SEEKS KNOWLEDGE

The Muslim woman and knowledge

(Qur’an: Ash Shams 91:9)Allah has said: ‘The one who has succeeded has purified it (the self)’.

Narrated in Saheeh Muslim on the authority of Nu’maan Ibn Basheer The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘Verily there is a morsel of flesh within the body, if it becomes good then the whole body will become good and if it becomes corrupt then it will become corrupt, verily it is the heart.’

It is narrated in Saheeh Al Bukhari on the authority of Abi Burdah that the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: Three people have two blessings. A man from the people of the book who believes in his Prophet and believes in Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم, and a slave if he gives Allah and his master their rights, and a man who has a female slave, and taught her good manners and did his best in doing so, and taught her knowledge and did his best in teaching her, then frees her and marries her then he has two blessings.’

And it is narrated in Saheeh Al Bukhari the statement of ‘Aisha: How virtuous are the women of the Ansaar, shyness never prevented them from learning their religion.

And it is narrated in Saheeh Al Bukhari that the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم gave a specific day for the women to seek knowledge.

This shows that the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم put great emphasis upon the education of Muslim women in the religion and has shown the immense reward of those who educate their wives and daughters and even their slave girls about the religion. The following sections will clarify to us as to why Islamic education for Muslim women is so important.

WOMEN MUST SEEK KNOWLEDGE

THE IMPORTANCE OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE FOR WOMEN

And the statement of the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم: ‘Women are the twin halves of men.’

Section: The obligation of seeking knowledge.

(Qur’an, Ta-Ha 20:114):“And say: My Lord increase me in knowledge.”

(Qur’an, Muhammad 47:19): ‘So know that there is no god save Allah, ask forgiveness for your sins and for the believing men and the believing women. Allah knows well your moving and your place of rest.’

On the authority of Anas Ibn Malik the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim.

Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab At Tamimi said:

Know, may Allah have mercy upon you that it is compulsory upon every Muslim to know these four issues.

1. العلم Al ‘Ilm: “Firstly, the Knowledge.”

2. العمل به Al ‘Amalu Bihi: “and the actions (working) by it.”

3. الدعوة إليه Ad Da’watu Ilaihi: “Calling to it.”

4. الصبرعلى الأذى فيه As Sabru ‘Alaal Adhaa Feehi: “and to have patience with the hardships that come along that path (in the way of da’wah)."

THE VIRTUES OF SEEKING KNOWLEDGE

(Qur’an, Al-’Imran 3:18): ‘There is no one worthy of worship but He: That is the witness of Allah, His angels and those endowed with knowledge, Standing firm in Justice (or maintaining His Creation in Justice). There is no god but He, the Exalted in power, the Wise.’

(Qur’an, Al Zumar 39:9): ‘Are those who have knowledge the same as those who don’t have knowledge’.

(Qur’an, Al-Mujadilah 58:11):’Allah will raise up, to (suitable) ranks and (degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted knowledge. And Allah is well-acquainted with all you do.’

(Qur’an, Fatir 35:28):“It is only those who have knowledge among His servants that fear Allah.”

Meaning: Those who have knowledge of the Book and the Sunnah and act upon this seeking the face of Allah.

It is reported in Saheeh Al Bukhari on the Authority of Mu’aawyah that he heard the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم say: ‘Whomsoever Allah wants good for he makes him understand the religion …’.

And narrated in Saheeh Muslim on the Authority of Abi Hurairah, the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘Whomsoever proceeds upon the road to seek knowledge Allah will make it easy upon him the road to enter Jannah.’

And Tirmidhi narrated in the Authority of Abi ‘Umamah that the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: ‘The preference of a scholar over a worshipper is like the preference of myself over all of you.’

It is clear from these verses of the Qur’an and these Ahadeeth of the Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم that a woman does not become one preferred by Allah because she has beauty, wealth or status. Rather, the sign that Allah prefers her over others is the understanding and implementation of the religion of Islam. And knowledge of Islam is that which cleanses the heart, makes a person thread upon the road of guidance, raises the person in levels and has the person die upon a state which Allah is pleased with. However, ignorance of the religion with all the beauty, wealth and status one craves and desires, only leads to a road of destruction where one walks upon darkness until one dies in a state that Allah is displeased with. For how many women are amazed with their wealth, status and beauty yet these things do not quench their thirst for happiness and contentment?

THE MONTH OF SHAWWAL

ALHAMDULILLAAHI!!!

WE HAVE FASTED IN THE BLESSED MONTH OF RAMADAAN AND I PRAY THAT ALLAAH ACCEPTS YOUR FASTS AND MINE AND FORGIVE YOU AND ME OF OUR SINS; AMEEN.

NOW IT'S THE MONTH OF SHAWWAL AND ON THE FIRST DAY OF THIS MONTH WE CELEBRATED THE END OF RAMADAAN AND THE END OF OUR FASTING, AL HAMDULILLAAH!!!

BUT, ALLAAH HAS MORE REWARDS FOR US TO ACQUIRE, IF WE CHOOSE, AND WE CHOOSE BECAUSE WE CHOOSE JANNAH/PARADISE AS OUR FINAL AND ETERNAL ABODE.

ABU AYYUB AL-ANSAREE (radiallaahu anhu) NARRATED THAT THE MESSENGER OF ALLAAH (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) SAID: "HE WHO OBSERVES THE FAST OF RAMADAAN, AND THEN FOLLOWS IT WITH FASTING SIX DAYS OF SHAWWAL, WOULD BE CONSIDERED AS IF HE FASTED FOR A LIFETIME. (Collected by Muslim)

SO, GO AHEAD AND GET YOUR LIFETIME FASTING REWARD, OUR LORD IS GREAT WITH HIS MERCY UPON US. ALLAAHU AKBAR!!!

"May Allaah bless us for our dua'a and may He answer them for us and forgive us of our sins and forgive us of our failures and our shortcomings and remove from us our ignorance and laziness and enter us into Paradise; AMEEN!"

ONLY ISLAAM

NO RELIGION WILL BE ACCEPTED BY YOUR LORD OTHER THAN ISLAAM!!!

Allaah says; "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islaam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers". (Surah Imran 3:85)

IT IS OBLIGATORY TO HAVE BELIEF IN THE MESSENGERSHIP OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (salallaahu alaihi wa sallam).

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiallaahu anhu): Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said; "By Him (Allaah) in Whose Hand Muhammad's (salallaahu alaihi wa sallam) soul is, there is none from amongst the Jews and the Christians (other religions of these present nations) who hears about me and then dies without believing in the Message with which I have been sent (i.e. Islaamic Monotheism), but he will be from the dwellers of the Hell Fire". (Sahih Muslim, the Book of Faith, Vol. 1, Hadith No. 240)

Allaah says; "Surely, those who reject Faith (disbelieve in Allaah and in Muhammad as being Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu alaihi wa sallam) and in all that which he (salallaahu alaihi wa sallam) has brought from Allaah), neither their properties, nor their offspring will avail them aught against Allaah. They are the dwellers of the Fire, therein they will abide".

Narrated Abu Hurairah (radiallaahu anhu): Allaah's Messener (salallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said; "By Him (Allaah) in Whose Hand my soul is, surely, the son of Maryam (Mary) Isa, (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims), and will judge mankind justly by the Law of the Quraan (as a just ruler), and will break the cross and kill the pigs and abolish Jizyah (a tax taken from the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) who are in the protection of the Muslim government). This tax will not be accepted by Isa (Jesus) and all mankind will be required to embrace Islaam with no other alternative. Then there will be abundance of money and nobody will accept charitable gifts". (Sahih Bukhari, Vol.3, Hadith No. 425)

Islaamic Monotheism is believing in the Oneness and Unification of Allaah, His Oneness in Lordship, His Oneness in Worship and His Oneness in His beautiful Names and Attributes.

THE JINN CONT'D

THE JINN WERE CREATED FROM A SMOKELESS FIRE, BUT THEY NO LONGER HAVE THEIR FIERY NATURE. THEY HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED FROM IT BY EATING, DRINKING, PROCREATION AND REPRODUCTION JUST AS THE SONS OF ADAM HAVE BEEN TRANSFORMED FROM THEIR EARTHLY ELEMENT IN THEE SAME WAY.

THE ONE WHO WAS CREATED FROM SMOKELESS FIRE WAS THE FATHER OF THE JINN IN THE WAY THAT ADAM, THE FATHER OF MEN, WAS CREATED FROM EARTH. AS FAR AS ALL OTHER JINN ARE CONCERNED, OTHER THAN THEIR FOREFATHER, THEY ARE NOT CREATED FROM ACTUAL SMOKELESS FIRE JUST AS NONE OF THE CHILDREN OF ADAM ARE CREATED FROM ACTUAL EARTH.

THE PROPHET (SAW) SAID THAT HE FELT ON THE 'COOLNESS' OF THE SPITTLE OF THE SHAYTAN WHO APPEARED TO HIM WHILE WAS PRAYING AND HE (SAW) THROTTLED HIM (THE SHAYTAN).

IMAM AHMAD IBN HANBAL RELATES FROM ABU SA'ID AL-KHUDRI THAT THE MESSENGER OF ALLAAH (SAW) GOT UP TO PRAY THE MORNING PRAYER AND I WAS PRAYING BEHING HIM. HE (SAW) RECITED AND BECAME CONFUSED IN HIS (SAW) RECITATION. WHEN HE (SAW) FINISHED THE PRAYER, HE (SAW) SAID; "IF YOU COULD HAVE ONLY SEEN ME GRABBING IBLIS (he is the shaytan and he was of the jinn) AND HOW I KEPT ON THROTTLING HIM UNTIL I FELT THE 'COOLNESS' OF HIS SPITTLE BETWEEN MY THUMB AND INDEX FINGER."

THE JINN EAT AND DRINK AND THEY CHEW AND SWALLOW AS IN THE HADITH OF UMAYYA IBN MAKHSHI TRANSMITTED BY ABU DA'WUD. HE SAID THE SHAYTAN CONTINUED TO EAT WITH HIM AND THEN HE (UMAYYA) MENTIONED THE NAME OF ALLAAH SAYING (bis mi allaah) AND HE (THE SHAYTAN) VOMITED WHAT WAS IN HIS BELLY.

IN SAHIH AL-BUKHARI A HADITH RELATED BY ABU HURAYRAH, THE PROPHET (SAW) COMMANDED HIM TO BRING HIM (SAW) SOME STONES WITH WHICH TO CLEAN HIMSELF WITH AFTER USING THE TOILET. HE (SAW) SAID, "DO NOT BRING BONES OR DUNG". WHEN ABU HURAYRAH ASKED THE MESSENGER OF ALLAAH (SAW) LATER THE REASON FOR THIS, HE (SAW) SAID, "THEY ARE THE FOOD OF THE JINN".

THE PROPHET (SAW) INFORMED US THAT SHAYTAN EATS WITH HIS LEFT HAND AND DE (SAW) COMMANDED US TO DO THE OPPOSITE OF THAT. IMAAM MUSLIM TRANSMITS FROM IBN UMAR THAT THE PROPHET (SAW) SAID; "WHEN ONE OF YOU EATS AND DRINKS, HE SHOULD DO IT WITH HIS RIGHT HAND. THE SHAYTAN EATS AND DRINKS WITH HIS LEFT HAND".

THE PARADISE

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE ABOVE PICTURES, PARADISE IS NOT IN THE HEAVENS, IT IS ABOVE THE SEVEN HEAVENS AND IT IS ALREADY CREATED.

PARADISE IS THE ULTIMATE REWARD, THE HIGHEST SUCCESS AND IT CAN ONLY BE ACQUIRED BY OBEYING ALLAAH AND HIS MESSENGER (SAW) IN ALL THINGS, AND AT ALL TIMES AND AFTER MAKING AN ERROR OR SIN, SEEKING FORGIVENESS FROM ALLAAH WITH SINCERE REPENTANCE.

"be foremost (in seeking) forgiveness from your Lord. and a garden (of bliss), the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believe in Allaah and His Messenger - that is the grace of Allaah, which He bestows on whome He pleases, and Allaah is the Lord of abounding grace" (Al-Hadeed 57:21)

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said that Allaah said: "I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen and no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the human heard. Thus, recite if you wish, 'and no soul knows what joy has been kept hidden for them.' " (Bukhari and Muslim)

Sahl bin Sa'd narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said: "A place in Paradise equal to the size of a lash (eye) is better than the whole world and whatever is in it." (Bukhari)

THE PARADISE IS ADORNED WITH MANY BEAUTIFUL THINGS THAT WE CANNOT IMAGINE BECAUSE WE'VE NEVER SUCH BEAUTY AND IT IS A REWARD FROM ALLAAH OUR LORD.

THE PARADISE HAS RIVERS, OF MILK, WINE (does not intoxicate) and HONEY (pure and clear). FOUNTAINS OF WATER MIXED WITH CAMPHOR (sweet) THAT ONLY THE RIGHTEOUS SERVANTS WILL DRINK FROM.

THE PARADISE HAD GARDENS OF TREES WITH FRUITS, DATES AND POMEGRANATES WHICH WILL HAND LOW IN COMPLIANCE AND SO SHALL ITS SHADE. THERE WILL BE A TREE SO WIDE THAT ONE CAN TRAVEL UNDER ITS SHADOW FOR A HUNDRED YEARS. PERPETUAL IS THE SHADE THEREIN. THERE WILL BE LOTE TREES (without thorns) AND THE FRUIT OF THE LOTE TREES WILL BE PILED ONE ABOVE ANOTHER WITH UNLIMITED SEASON AND ITS SUPPLY WILL NEVER CEASE.

THE PEOPLE WILL RECLINE ON RAISED THRONES WITHOUT BURNING SUN NOR FREEZING COLD, THE FACES WILL BE JOYFUL AND THERE WILL BE NO BAD SPEECH AND THE PEOPLE WILL PRAISE ALLAAH. THERE WILL BE NO SORROW, NO TOIL AND NO WEARINESS WILL TOUCH THE PEOPLE AND PARADISE IS A LASTING RESIDENCE, FOREVER.

"say, shall i bring your attention to things far better than, those? for the righteous are gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath, eternal therein, with pure companions (husbands & wives) and the good pleasure of Allaah. For within Allaah's sight are (all) His servants - (especially) those who say, 'our Lord, we have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the agony of the Fire'. - those who are patient, are truthful, who worship devoutly, who spend (in the cause of Allaah) and who pray for forgiveness in the pre-dawn hours." (Imraan 3:15-17)

Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said: "Allaah will say to the inhabitants of Paradise, 'Oh inhabitants of Paradise!' They will say 'Oh our Lord, we present ourselves and are at Your pleasure, and goodness rests in Your hands'. Then He will say, 'Are you contented'? They will reply, 'And how should we not be contented, Oh Lord, when You have given to us that which You have given to no one else of Your creation'? Then He will say, 'Would you like Me to give you something better than that'? They will answer, 'Oh Lord, and what thing is better than that'? He will say, 'I shall cause My Favor to descend upon you and thereafter I shall never be displeased with you. (Bukhari and Muslim)

THE JINN

THE JINN ARE CREATION WHICH THE HUMAN BEING CANNOT ORDINARILY SEE UNLESS THEY TAKE A FORM OF CREATION WHICH THE HUMAN BEING CAN SEE. THE JINN ARE BELIEVERS AND DISBELIEVERS. THEY EAT, THEY LIVE AND THEY DIE.

ALLAAH SAYS; "AND I (ALLAAH) CREATED NOT THE JINN AND MANKIND EXCEPT THAT THEY WORSHIP ME (ALONE)." DHARIYAT 51:56

"AND THE JINN WE (ALLAAH) CREATED AFORETIME FROM SMOKELESS FLAME FIRE." HIJR 15:27

"SAY (O MUHAMMAD (saw): IT HAS BEEN REVEALED TO ME THAT A GROUP (FROM AMONG THREE TO TEN IN NUMBER) OF JINN LISTENED (TO THIS QURAN). THEY SAID; 'VERILY, WE HAVE HEARD A WONDERFUL RECITAION' (THIS QURAAN)." JINN 72:1

"IT (THE QURAAN) GUIDES TO THE RIGHT PATH, AND WE HAVE BELIEVED THEREIN, AND WE SHALL NEVER JOIN (IN WORSHIP) ANYTHING WITH OUR LORD (ALLAAH)." JINN 72:2

"AND VERILY, THERE WERE MEN AMONG MANKIND WHO TOOK SHELTER WITH THE MALES AMONG THE JINN, BUT THEY (JINN) INCREASED THEM (MANKIND) IN SIN AND TRANSGRESSION." JINN 72:6

THE SHAYTAAN, SATAN, IBLIS IS FROM THE TRIBE OF THE JINN.

ALLAAH SAYS; "AND (REMEMBER) WHEN WE SAID TO THE ANGELS: PROSTRATE YOURSELVES BEFORE ADAM. AND THEY PROSTRATED EXCEPT IBLIS (SATAN), HE REFUSED AND WAS PROUD AND WAS ONE OF THE DISBELIEVERS (DISOBEDIENT TO ALLAAH)." BAQARAH 2:34

"ALLAAH SAID; WHAT PREVENTED YOU (O IBLIS) THAT YOU DID NOT PROSTRATE YOURSELF, WHEN I COMMANDED YOU?" IBLIS SAID; 'I AM BETTER THAN HIM (ADAM), YOU CREATED ME FROM FIRE, AND HIM YOU CREATED FROM CLAY'." ARAF 7:12

"AND (REMEMBER) WHEN WE SAID TO THE ANGELS; PROSTRATE YOURSELVES UNTO ADAM. SO THEY PROSTRATED THEMSELVES ESCEPT IBLIS (SATAN). HE WAS ONE OF THE JINN; HE DISOBEYED THE COMMAND OF HIS LORD........KAHF 18:50

THE JINN POSSESS A GREAT POWER TO TAKE ON FORMS AND CHANGE SHAPE. THEY CAN TAKE ON THE FORM OF SNAKES AND SCORPIONS, HORSES, CATTLE, CAMELS, SHEEP AND THE FORM OF BIRDS. INDEED, THEY HAVE POWER TO APPEAR IN HUMAN FORM. THEY HAVE POWER CAN CAPAABILITY THAT ARE BEYOND HUMAN BEINGS. SUCH AS STRENGTH AND MOVEMENT.

ONE JINN, NAMED IFRIT, PROMISED SULAYMAN TO BRING THE THRONE OF THE QUEEN OF YEMEN TO JERUSALEM. HE WENT TO YEMEN CARRIED THE THRONE BACK TO JERUSALEM IN LESS TIME THAN IT TOOK SULAYMAN TO RISE FROM HIS SEAT.

ALLAAH SAYS; "A IFRIT (STRONG ONE) FROM THE JINN SAID; 'I WILL BRING IT (THE THRONE) TO YOU BEFORE YOU RISE FROM YOUR PLACE (COUNCIL). AND VERILY I AM INDEED STRONG, AND TRUSTWORTHY FOR SUCH WORK'." NAML 27:39

BACKBITING

THE TONGUE EXPRESSES WHAT IS IN THE HEART. IF THE PERSON'S HEART IS GOOD YOU SEE IT IN THEIR SAYINGS.

THE TONGUE MUST BE CLOSED WITHIN THIS SMALL PRISON THAT ALLAAH HAS CREATED FOR IT; THE TEETH AND THE LIPS.

ABU SA'EED AL-KHUDRI (RA) SAID THAT THE MESSENGER OF ALLAAH (SAW) SAID; "THE SON OF ADAM (MANKIND) WAKES UP AND THE WHOLE BODY MAKES TAKFEER (WARNS OF ERROR) UPON HIS TONGUE, SAYING 'FEAR ALLAAH CONCERNING US FOR INDEED WE ARE UPON YOU, SO IF YOU ARE UPRIGHT, THEN WE WILL BE UPRIGHT AND IF YOU ARE CORRUPT, THEN WE WILL BE CORRUPT'."(Tirmithee)

ON THE AUTHORITY OF ABU HURAYRAH (RA) WHO SAID THAT THE PROPHET (SAW) SAID "DO YOU KNOW WHAT BACKBITING IS?" THEY SAID 'ALLAAH AND HIS MESSSENGER KNOW BEST.' HE (SAW) SAID "TO MENTION ABOUT YOUR BROTHER/SISTER THAT WHICH HE/SHE HATES." THEY SAID 'IF WHAT WE SEE ABOUT OUR BROTHER/SISTER IS TRUE'? HE (SAW) SAID "IF THERE IS IN HIM/HER WHAT YOU SAY OF HIM/HER THEN THAT IS BACKBITING, AND IF YOU SAY OF HIM/HER THAT WHICH IS NOT TRUE THEN YOU HAVE SLANDERED HIM/HER." (Muslim)

TO MAKE FUN OF A PERSON IS BACKBITING AND THE USING OF SPEECH AGAINST ONE ANOTHER WISHING CORRUPTION IS TALE-CARRYING.

ALLAAH SAYS; "DO NOT BACKBITE EACH OTHER, WOULD ANY OF YOU WISH TO EAT THE MEAT OF YOUR DEAD BROTHER, NO, RATHER YOU HATE IT"!!! (hujurat 49:12)

"WOE TO EVERY SLANDERER AND BACKBITER."(humaza 104:1)

ON THE AUTHORITY OF ABDULLAH IBN ABBAS (RA) WHO SAID THAT THE MESSENGER (SAW) PASSED BY TWO GRAVES AND SAID; "THEY ARE BEING PUNISHED. AS REGARDS ONE OF THEM, HE USED TO GO AROUND BACKBITING AND SLANDERING AND AS REGARDS THE OTHER, HE WAS NOT CAREFUL IN CLEANING HIMSELF FROM URINE."

UBAYDA, THE FREED SLAVE OF THE PROPHET (SAW) REPORTED THAT SOMEONE CAME AND SHOW THE PROPHET (SAW) TWO WOMEN WHO WERE FASTING AND SAID THAT THEY WERE DYING OF THIRST. THE PROPHET (SAW) TURNED AWAY SILENTLY REFUSING TO GIVE PERMISSION FOR THEM TO BREAK THEIR FAST. SO THE MAN BEGGED HIM AGAIN MENTIONING THAT THE WOMEN WERE ON THE VERGE OF DEATH. THE PROPHET (SAW) THEN SAID; "BRING THEM TO ME AND BRING ALONG A BOWL." WHEN THEY CAME TO HIM (SAW), HE TURNED TO ONE OF THEM AND TOLD HER TO VOMIT IN THE BOWL. SHE COMPLIED SPITTING UP A MIXTURE OF VOMIT, BLOOD, PUS AND PIECES OF FLESH WHICH HALF FILLED THE BOWL. HE (SAW) THEN TURNED TO THE OTHER WOMAN AND HAD HER TO DO THE SAME. AFTER THE BOWL WAS FILLED, HE (SAW) SAID; "VERILY, THESE TWO HAVE FASTED FROM WHAT ALLAAH MADE HALAAL (PERMISSIBLE) AND BROKE THEIR FAST FROM WHAT ALLAAH HAS MADE HARAAM (FORBIDDEN). THEY SPENT THEIR FAST EATING THE FLES OF OTHERS". (collected by Ahmad and Baihaqi)

DO YOU SAY THAT JESUS, JEHOVAH, H.KRISHNER, BUDDAH, YAHWEE, ANIMALS AND INANIMATE OBJECTS IS/ARE YOUR LORD WHILE THEY ARE CREATED BEINGS/THINGS?

DO YOU SAY THAT YOU WORSHIP THAT WHICH CANNOT HEAR, SPEAK AND HAS NO POWER TO GRANT YOU ANYTHING BECAUSE IT NEEDS YOUR HELP TO STAND/SIT ON A SHELF?

DO YOU SAY THAT YOU WORSHIP A HUMAN BEING WHO CAME THROUGH THE WOMB OF A WOMAN IN LOWLY CHILDBIRTH, AND IS THEREFORE, EQUAL TO YOURSELF, AH --- A HUMAN BEING?

DO YOU SAY THAT ANOTHER HUMAN BEING CAN ANSWER YOUR PRAYER WHEN, THEY IN FACT MUST PRAY THEMSELVES?

DO YOU SAY THAT SUCH AND SUCH ANIMAL IS YOUR LORD BECAUSE OF ITS RARITY, COLOR, ABILITIES OR SIZE?

AND DO YOU SAY THAT THE BIG MALE/FEMALE STATUE WILL GRANT YOU SOMETHING WHEN IT WAS CREATED BY A PERSON. PUT UP ON A PEDESTAL BY A PERSON, IT MUST BE MAINTAINED AND SUSTAINED BY A PERSON AND SOMETIMES IT IS STOLEN BY ANOTHER PERSON?

DO YOU SAY THAT YOUR LORD WAS NAILED TO A CROSS AND DIED AND WHILE DEAD HE STILL MAINTAINS AND SUSTAINS HIS CREATION, HEARS AND ANSWER THEIR PRAYERS AND THEN HE ARISES ONCE A YEAR TO BE WORSHIPPED?

DO YOU SAY THAT ANY OF THE ABOVE CREATED BEINGS AND INANIMATE OBJECTS SHOULD BE WORSHIPPED AS YOUR LORD WHO CREATED EVERYTHING!!!?

WHO IS ALLAAH?

Indeed your Lord is ALLAAH, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He rose over the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and He created the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is Creation and Commandment. Blessed is Allaah the Lord of the 'Alamin' (mankind, jinn and all that exists)! Surah Al-Araf 7:54

And your God is One God --- ALLAAH, La ilaha illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be worshipped but He), the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Surah Baqarah 2:163

He is Ever Living, La ilaha illa Huwa (there is none who has the right to be worshipped but He), so invoke Him making your worship pure for Him Alone (by worshipping Him Alone, and none else ........ Surah Ghafir 40:65

He is the First (nothing was before Him) and the Last (nothing will be after Him), the Most High (nothing is above Him) and the Most Near (nothing is nearer than Him). And He is the All-Knower of everything. Surah Hadid 57:3

Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him? (of course none is similar or co-equal or comparable to Him, and He has none as partner with Him). There is nothing like unto Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. Surah Maryam 19:65

ZAKAATUL FITR

ZAKAATUL FITR IS OBLIGATORY, IT IS A PURIFICATION AND FOOD FOR THE POOR AND A PURIFICATION FOR THE ONE WHO FASTED FROM VAIN AND OBSCENE TALK, IT MUST BE DISTRIBUTED BEFORE THE 'EID PRAYER', ITS MEASUREMENT IS ONE "SAA" FOR EACH MEMBER OF THE FAMILY AND IT MUST BE PAID BY THE HUSBAND (it can be distributed by any of the family members). IT MUST BE WHEAT, BARLEY, GRAIN, RICE RAISINS, DATES, FLOUR, SUGAR, DRY BEANS i.e. (common dry foodstuffs of the land, country, state, county, city, etc.) IT IS PROHIBITED TO DELAY THE DISTRIBUTION OF ZAKAATUL FITR WITHOUT AN EXCUSE. IT CANNOT BE PAID FOR THE WIFE WHO IS NOT MUSLIM.

ACCORDING TO THE SUNNAH OF MUHAMMAD (sallaahu alaihi wa sallam), IT IS NOT PERMISSABLE TO PAY ZAKAATUL FITR WITH MONEY. Allaah says; "Oh you who believe, I command you to obey Allaah, I command you to obey the Messenger, and those in authority from among yourselves. But, if you differ in anything then refer it back to Allaah and the Messenger. That is better as a final decision." (Surah Nisa 4:59).

On the authority of Abdullaah Ibn Umar (ra) who said, "The Messenger of Allaah (sallaahu alaihi wa sallam) obligated the payment of one saa of dates or one saa of barley as Zakaatul Fitr on every slave or free person, male or e , young or old, from among the Muslims; and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the 'Eid Prayer'." (collected by Bukhaaree and Muslim.

On the authority of Abudullaaih ibn Abbaas (ra) who said, "The of Allaah (sallaahu alaihi wa sallam) obligated the payment of Zakaatul Fitr as a purification of the fasting from vain and obscene talk and as food for the poor. If anyone pays it before the 'Eid Prayer', it will be and acceptable zakaah. I anyone pays it after the 'Eid Prayer', it will be a sadaqa (alms, charity) like other sadaqaat. (collected by Abu Daawud and Ibn Maajah and authenticated by Al-Albaanee.

On the authority of Naafi (ra), that Ibn Umar (ra) used to give Zakaatul Fitr to those who collected it. They used to distribute it a day or two before 'Eidul Fitr'/'Eid Prayer'. (collected by Al-Bukhaaree)

ra: Rahimah Allaah (Allaah's Mercy upon him)

Bukhaaree, Muslim, Abu Daawud and Ibn Maajah are the Imaams that collected everything that the Messenger of Allaah (sallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said and did.

Al-Albaanee is the renowned scholar who proved what they collected was authentic or not. Everything (Ahaadith/Hadith) from Imaam Al-Bukhaaree is authentic.

saa: Dry measure that is four (4) full handfuls of a man's two (2) hands together.

sadaqa/sadaqaaat: Regular charity/charities given at any time.

Eidul Fitr/Eid Prayer: The prayer that is made the day after Ramadaan ends and celebration begins. Our Holiday!!!

AT-TAWHID

AT-TAWHID IS THE UNIFICATION OF ALLAAH IT IS THE ONENESS OF ALLAAH AND IT IS THE PROOF THAT ALLAAH IS ONE AND HE HAS NO HELPERS, HE ALWAYS EXISTED AND HE WILL ALWAYS EXIST. HE HAS NO BEGINNING NOR ENDING. HE DOES NOT GET TIRED NOR DOES HE NEED REST OR SLEEP. HE IS THE ONE WHO CREATED EVERYTHING AND EVERYTHING OTHER THAN HIM IS CREATION. HE HAS NAMED HIMSELF WITH NINETY-NINE (99) NAMES AND HE HAS QUALIFIED HIMSELF WITH HIS ATTRIBUTES THAT DESCRIBE THESE NAMES. HE IS THE ONLY DEITY/GOD THAT HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPPED AND NO OTHER DEITY/GOD HAS THIS RIGHT BECAUSE EVERY OTHER DEITY/GOD THAT IS WORSHIPPED WAS CREATED BY ALLAAH.

AT-TAWHID HAS THREE BRANCHES

AR-RUBOOBIYYAH

ALLAAH'S LORDSHIP/ALLAAH CREATES, MAINTAINS AND SUSTAINS EVERYTHING.

AS MAA WA SIFAAT

ALLAAH HAS NINETY (99) LOFTY AND BEAUTIFUL NAMES AND ALLAAH HAS ATTRIBUTES THAT HE HAS QUALIFIED HIMSELF WITH THAT DESCRIBED HIS NAMES

AL ULOOHIYYAH

ALLAAH'S WORSHIP IS FOR HIM ALONE, THERE IS NONE WHO HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPPED BUT HIM AND HE HAS NO PARTNERS. SINCE HE IS THE ONE WHO CREATES, MAINTAINS AND SUSTAINS EVERYTHING, THEN WHO WOULD BE BETTER THAN HIM TO WORSHIP OR WHO WOULD HAVE THIS RIGHT OTHER THAN ALLAAH? THE WORSHIP IS DUE TO HIM ALONE.

THE SALAAT/PRAYER

THE SALAAT/PRAYER IS A PART OF COMPLETING TAWHID

OUR LORD, ALLAAH HAS COMMANDED US TO PRAY AND OUR PROPHET (SALLALLAAHU ALAIHI WA SALLAM) HAS COMMANDED US TO PRAY AND HE (SALLALLAAHU ALAIHI WA SALLAM) HAS TAUGHT US HOW, WHEN, WHAT AND WHERE TO PRAY. AND HE (SALLALLAAHU ALAIHI WA SALLAM) HAS TAUGHT US HOW WE SHOULD CLEAN OURSELVES BEFORE WE PRAY.

THE PART OF TAWHID THAT SALAAT IS A PART OF COMPLETING IS AL-ULOOHIYYAH "WORSHIP". AND ALLAAH SAYS; "VERILY! I AM ALLAAH! LA ILAHA ILLA ANA (NONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPPED BUT "I"), SO WORSHIP ME, AND PERFORM (AS-SALAAT) IQAMAT AS SALAAT FOR MY REMEMBRANCE".

THE SALAAT IS THE FIRST THING THAT THE PEOPLE WILL BE ASKED ABOUT ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.

OH PEOPLE KEEP TO YOUR SALAAT, FIVE DAILY SALAAT ESPECIALLY, THEY ARE OBLIGATORY UPON YOU. LEAVING THEM OFF TAKES YOU OUT OF THE FOLD OF ISLAAM.
